A major feature update to Windows, known as the Windows 11 2024 update or 24H2 (24H2 refers to the year and half) was released late last year and is being progressively rolled out to Windows 10 and 11 devices.

During the second half of each calendar year, Microsoft releases such feature updates. These include improvements and changes to the operating system itself and the included apps. To review what features have been added, please see Microsoft Support. Despite its name, Windows 11 2024 update is also being applied to Windows 10 devices although not mentioned.

Over the past few months, we have been working with our clients to progressively deploy various Windows 10 to Windows 11 upgrades to supported devices and as part of this, implement the Windows 11 2024 update across their devices.

We strongly recommend upgrading as soon as practical to ensure that you remain secure and protected. Don’t forget to restart your machine after updating. If you have any issues or questions, please contact us.
