Another popular question I’m being asked at the moment is, “Is it possible to go back to Windows 7 or 8.1 after upgrading to Windows 10?”.
If you have upgraded to Windows 10 and need to downgrade to Windows 7, Microsoft provides one month’s grace in which you can uninstall Windows 10 and go back to Windows 7 or 8.1.
A backup is made upon the installation of Windows 10 within your computer allowing you to revert to your previous operating system. This can help you restore your computer as it was before the upgrade.
If it is beyond 30 days, then you will be unable to do without wiping the computer and reinstalling Windows 7 manually, along with your programs and files. This may mean Windows 7, along with your programs would need to be installed and updated, and your personal settings would need to be reconfigured.
If you wish to go back to your previous operating system, I would suggest you first backup all your files and ensure you have all of the software licences and discs available for installation. This process can be tricky so I would suggest you contact us to make an appointment.
